Biothane Simple Slip Leash - 1/2 inch wide leash with 3/4 inch neck insert - Nickel Hardware - Size Small

The Simple Slip Leash design is similar to the Pocket Slip, except that there is a second, wider, layer of biothane around the neck section of the leash.   Like the Pocket Slip, this leash slides easily over your dog's head and comes with a biothane stopper to keep it in place.  These types of leashes are ideal for dog sports venues where you are often removing your leash (such as agility or dock diving).

BioThane ® is the registered brand name of a US company that applies TPU or PVC coating to polyester webbing to create a variety of durable and waterproof products.  Unlike imitation brands, BioThane® stands up well to the test of time.  In 2020 Pandemonium Pets made the shift from working in leather to working in biothane as we were impressed with the variety and longevity of the material.

Functionality First is our motto when it comes to BioThane®.  Unlike many of our competitors we sew rather than merely screw or rivet most of our products (there are a few exceptions, such as the rope, where sewing is less feasible).  While rivets or Chicago screws may hold for a time, only sewing is proven to maintain the inherent strength of the material (according to BioThane USA).  With security in mind, most of our products rely on stitching for construction with rivets serving a more decorative function.

Made-to-Order

Many of our items are made-to-order which means that there could be a delay of up to two weeks between ordering and shipping items such as toys, collars and leashes.  It also means that if you had any specific alterations or sizing specifications that you have time to email us and make that request!  If you need the item in a hurry please email me to confirm availability and time-line.
