Functionality First is our motto when it comes to BioThane®.Unlike many of our competitors we sew rather than merely screw or rivet most of our products (there are a few exceptions, such as the rope, where sewing is less feasible).While rivets or Chicago screws may hold for a time, only sewing is proven to maintain the inherent strength of the material (according to BioThane USA).With security in mind, most of our products rely on stitching for construction with rivets serving a more decorative function.
Our Slip Leads come in a variety of styles from the "Simple Slip" to "Collared Simple Slip." The Simple Slip consists of one piece of biothane that forms a loop with a stopper to quickly slip over your dogs neck when moving them in and out of dog sports venues. The "Simple Slip" comes in 1/2 inch and 3/4 inch widths (we recommend the 3/4 with larger dogs), and can come with a sewn handle OR a small clip and D ring to convert your handle into a standard leash (to attach to a gentle leader or collar). The "collared simple slip" is similar except that a neck portion (one size wider than the leash and the circumference of your dog's neck) is stitched onto the leash for added comfort. Like the Simple Slip the Collared Slip is also available with a convertible handle.
